Concert Calendar
The 25th Early Music Days - organized by Philharmonia Budapest Concert and Festival Agency - will be held between 20–27 June 2009 in Sopron.
The recited courses and festival concerts provide great facilities in professional education for Hungarian and foreign musicians as well.
Number of active participants
- at the violin and flute course: maximum 12
- at the fortepiano course: maximum 10
- at the singing course: maximum 10
The active participants will be selected on the first course day by the course professor.
Courses will only be held in case of at least 5 active participants.
Applications will be accepted in the order of their arrival.
The number of passive participants and the students on the dance and chamber music courses is not limited.
The courses will be held in the
Ferenc Liszt Conference and Cultural Center
Sopron, Liszt Ferenc tér 1.

violin and flute: daily 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
singing and chamber music: daily 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
and 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
historical dance A): daily 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
B): daily 9 a.m. – 10 a.m.
fortepiano*:
24 June 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
25–27 June daily 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
and 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
The students of the Liszt Academy of Music receive a credit point for their participation.

* The participants of the fortepiano course are welcome for the whole festival period!

BARTHOLD KUIJKEN (Belgium)

Program:
Telemann - methodical sonatas, duets
Quantz - sonatas, duets, caprices, concertos
Participants are expected to prepare at least one Telemann and one Quantz piece.
Please bring the Quantz flute treatise and the Solfeggi (Ed. Amadeus) with you!

Program:
Sonatas by Handel, Geminiani, Festing, Jones, Carbonelli, Castrucci, Hellendaal, Veracini, Gibbs and Giardini
Trios by Purcell, Handel, Boyce and Arne
You may use modern or Baroque violin as well, tuned on 415 or 440 Hz.
(In case of playing a modern instrument please use a gut E string if possible.)

With the application please enclose the copy of the transfer of the application fee. Your application is only valid with the money transfer.
We are sorry but in case of withdrawal the registration fee cannot be refunded.
2. PARTICIPATION FEE FOR ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS: 100 €
3. PARTICIPATION FEE FOR PASSIVE PARTICIPANTS: 70 €
The Chamber music course and the Dance course B) is free for the active participants of other courses.
Those who have paid the active or passive participation fee are entitled to visit all courses and concerts.
The participation fee should be paid upon arrival on the spot.
4. DAILY TICKET FOR PASSIVE PARTICIPANTS: 15 €
5. ACCOMMODATION HUF 2500/person/night
in youth hostel – upon request – is provided by the organizers.
Accommodation fee should be paid upon arrival.
