Olivier Bombrun (France)

was born in 1981 in Valence. He graduated from Romans Secondary School of Music in 1998 and has received his diploma in 2005 from the Lyon Supérieur Secondary School of Music, being one of the students of T. Caens.
He has also been the student of Hans Gansch at the Mozarteum of Salzburg in the year of 2006-2007.
His orchestral experience took him from the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg in 2004-2005 to the Orquestra de la Communidad Valenciana from 2006-2008, being the lead trumpet player under Lorin Maazel.
Competition prizes: Maurice André International Trumpet Competition (Paris) 3rd prize; European Competition at Moulins 2nd prize; „National Competition of Young Musicians” 1st prize.
